Step 2-You can now open the newly created Omada folder and create three new folders namely data, logs, and work within the Omada folder. From there, you can close the file station app and proceed.
Step 3-You go to the control panel on your Synology NAS and click the ‘task scheduler’ from the left menu item. This is the last item on the control panel.
Step 4-You can now form the task scheduler and click the ‘create’ button. Therein, you will find two more options for scheduled tasks. You then select the ‘user-defined script’.
Step 5-After this, a new task creation window will appear and it requires that you provide some information.
Under the general tab, you are requested to provide the name for the task. Any name is acceptable. You then select the user and then uncheck the ‘enabled ‘ task. When you are done with this, you select schedule task. You then select ‘Run’ on the following page.
After that, you select the ‘do not repeat’ option from the drop-down.

Step 8-Now all that you can do is wait for some minutes and the Omada controller image will download from the docker hub. The system will now install the container. All these things happen automatically, in the background.
The installation process takes a few minutes, depending on your network connection speed. When it’s completed, you can see the Omada controller running with your docker container.
Step 9-You are now supposed to open the browser on your system and type your NAS IP address with the Omada controller app then click ‘enter’. You will see the unsecured website information and you can then proceed to a link that will take you to the Omada Controller setup page.
Step 10-When you see the setup page, you click on the ‘let’s get started ‘ button and proceed with the initial setup. You can start using the Omada controller on your Synology NAS like the Omada hardware controller.
